INSPECTING THE HEPA FILTER
Your S-Series mid-size scrubber is equipped with a HEPA filter.
You can locate the HEPA filter by lifting the recovery water tank, opening it as far as it will go using the side handle. 1

Loosen one of the recovery tank support cable bolts using a 7/16-inch socket head driver so that the tank will swing fully open to give
you access to the HEPA filter.

Loosen the vacuum hose clamp located at the top of the HEPA filter with a 5/16-inch socket head driver and pull the cuff off of the
HEPA filter.

Inspect the HEPA Filter
Visually inspect the inside of the filter every 200 hours of machine operation. Heavy build up on the filter, which can cause loss of
squeegee performance, indicates the need to replace the filter. Also inspect the outside of the filter for physical damage or holes.

When reattaching the filter, ensure the large diameter is fully engaged with the seal plate.
