 Firebricks

Your Stove came with a package containing 18 full-size firebricks, as well as 3 various cut-size bricks.

If your heater came with an ash cleanout system, or an optional one is being installed, you will be left with an
extra full brick.

Figure 15:  Firebricks on floor.

1.  When installing firebricks onto the

floor of a unit with an ash dump,
2 small bricks ("A & B" in Fig 10 )
will be used on either end of the
ash dump.

2.  Brick "C" is a shorter brick than

"D" bricks are. "C" brick fits up
against a vertical post on the rear
wall of the firebox and is used
in units with or without an ash
dump system.

3.  Regular sized "D" bricks are used

in the rest of the installation.

Figure 16:  Floor layout without ash dump.

The floor firebricks on units without
an ash dump use a full size "D" brick
instead of "A & B" firebricks. Again,
the one exception is the "C" brick.
