6) Place the storm collar down over the pipe until it is level. Tighten
storm collar for a snug fit. Apply a thick horizontal ring of mastic
around the support sleeve at top of storm collar. (see Fig. # 19)
7) Extend the 4 inch inner flex pipe through the roof assembly. Slip
the flex pipe a minimum of 1 1/2 inches over the inner collar of the roof
vent terminal. Secure to the collar with screws provided. Seal the joint
and screw heads using the high temperature sealant provided.
8) Lower the roof vent terminal over the sleeve and secure in place
with screws provided. (see Fig. # 19) Seal screw heads and joint with
caulking to prevent any moisture entering the venting system.
