Gas Pressure Testing Procedure

Caution: Turn off the gas supply to the appliance before loosening test port screws. A

gas supply shut-off valve is located just below the firebox and to the right hand side of

the fireplace. See Figure 47.

Remove Safety Screen assembly and set aside. See "Safety Screen Removal" section in this manual.

Locate the valve just below the firebox and to the right.

The gas control valve is equipped with a capture screw type pressure test port. Locate the inlet and

outlet test ports on top of the gas valve as shown in Figure __.

Loosen one of the capture screws 1/2 a turn within a small flat screwdriver.

Attach pressure gauge to the open test port.

Turn gas supply back ON and light the fireplace.

Note: Both Inlet and Outlet gas pressures must be measured with the fireplace lit and at the

highest setting.

After testing is finished turn off gas supply, remove the pressure gauges and tighten the capture screws

in the test port.

Repeat the procedure for the other test port.
