Manufactured (Mobile) Home

This appliance is certified to be installed in an aftermarket permanently located, manufactured (mobile) 

home, where not prohibited by local codes.

This appliance is only for use with the type of gas indicated on the rating plate. This appliance is not 

convertible for use with other gases, unless a certified kit is used.

This appliance must be installed in accordance with the Standard for Manufactured Housing, CAN/CSA 

Z240 MH (in CANADA), and the Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standard, Title 24 CFR, 

Part 3280, in the United States; or when such a standard is not applicable, the Standard for Manufactured 

Home Installations, ANSI A2251/NFPA 501A (in the USA).

Locating the Fireplace

When selecting a location for 

the fireplace, it is important to consider the required clearances to walls 

and other combustible materials, location and route of the vent system and where gas supply piping 

may be plumbed. Various installations are possible, such as, into an existing wall, a corner, a built in 

wall or a wall projection. See (Figure 27) below.

Due to high temperatures, do not locate this fireplace in areas of high traffic or near furniture or draperies.

Front of the appliance is the side with the Safety Screen covering the viewing glass.  Left and Right side 

are determined when facing the front of the appliance.
