SMART MODE
• The unit automatically selects to operate in COOL or FAN
mode.
• To set this mode, press the MODE button until the arrow next
to the SMART symbol appears.
SLEEP FUNCTION
The temperature setting will gradually increase to 1ºF above the
original set temperature for each of the first 2 hours. The unit will
keep operating at the same temperature for 6 hours, then switch to
standby mode. To set this function:
• Select the operating mode (COOL / DRY / SMART).
• Press the SLEEP button; the unit will operate in the
selected mode.
SWING FUNCTION
This function is useful for selecting the left/right swing of air delivery.
To set this function:
• Select the operating mode (COOL / DRY / FAN / SMART).
• Press the SWING button to activate this function.
• Press the SWING button again to deactivate this function.
SETTING THE TIMER
The timer can be used to delay the unit’s start or stop time to avoid wasting electricity by
optimizing operating period.
TIMER OFF FUNCTION
1. With the unit ON, press the TIMER button. The is displayed
above the TIMER OFF to indicate that it is active.
2. Set the time you want the unit to switch off using the and
buttons (from 30 minutes to 24 hours).
• During the first 10 hours you can select 30 minute intervals up to
9.5 hours; After 10 hours, only 1 hour intervals can be selected.
3. Press the TIMER button again to confirm the setting. The
TIMER icon on the control panel will be activated.
• At the end of the set time, the unit automatically switches OFF.
• To cancel the TIMER setting, press the TIMER button again at any point during the set time.
