The Setup menu
Sprache
You can choose a language for the menu.
Uhrzeit
Here you can choose between the different formats for displaying the date and time. It also allows you
to set the date and time manually.
Wecker stellen
You can open this option by pressing the ALARM button. Here you can choose between two alarm
times that you can set independently from each other. You can also set different volumes for each
alarm. You can further switch "On“ and “Off” each alarm time.
FM Sucheinstellung
For FM band reception, here you can set if you only want to auto scan for strong signals with good
quality or if you also allow weaker stations during station scan.
PRUNE
If your DAB+/DAB station list contains any stations marked with a question mark (meaning that your
radio can’t receive them at this moment), you can remove them permanently from the station list. If
you want to add them again to the station list, for example, after you have moved to a different
location or you have switched from terrestrial to cable reception, you have to start a new station scan.
DRC
DRC means Dynamic Range Compression (DRC) This lets you narrow volume differences between
the different DAB+/DAB stations, allowing you to enjoy a more homogeneous listening experience.
SW Version
This option shows the current software version installed on your device.
Firmware Upgrade
If you need to upgrade the firmware, please read this section carefully. If you are not sure about
this function, please contact our support hotline. Upgrading the firmware is normally not
necessary, or only in rare situations. If problems arise during the firmware upgrade and the
device stops working, this is not covered by the warranty and considered to be an out-of-
warranty repair.
The device has an USB port for upgrading the firmware.
This USB port exclusively is for firmware upgrade and does not support any other transfer of data.
