Instructions for Use
Fuel
We recommend using only diesel oil in this indirect air heater.
•
Always store fuel in an approved and clearly labelled container.
•
NEVER store fuel in residential areas and only in well ventilated areas.
•
NEVER use other fuels like petrol or similar that may cause a fire or explosion.
•
Never store diesel oil in direct sunlight or close to a heat source.
•
Never use old fuel – diesel oil turns bad over time and will not burn properly in this
indirect air heater.
•
Always fill with fuel outdoors!
•
Never overfill the tank.
•
Make sure the indirect air heater stands on a flat surface.
How the indirect air heater works
Fuel system:
The indirect air heater is equipped with an electric air pump that forces air through
the air hose connected to the fuel intake and then through a nozzle to the burner
head. When air passes in front of the intake, it causes the fuel to rise from the tank to
the burner nozzle. This mixture of fuel and air is now sprayed into the combustion
chamber as a fine mist.
Ignition:
The electronic ignition sends a voltage to a specially designed spark plug. The spark
plug then ignites the air and fuel mist.
Air system:
The motor causes the fan to rotate, which forces air into the combustion chamber.
The air heats up and forced out of the front/exhaust of the indirect air heater.
Overheating fuse
This indirect air heater is equipped with a fuse that automatically switches off the
machine if it overheats. Once the indirect air heater has cooled down sufficiently, it
can be restarted.
