Replacing the fuse
WARNING – To avoid electric shock or a short circuit, follow the instructions
precisely. Do not skip any steps.
Battery maintenance and disposal
The battery may not be stored at temperatures above 23
o
C or below –23
o
C.
The battery is a sealed lead battery, which must be recycled.
Disposal:
The battery must be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally-
responsible manner. The battery may not be incinerated as it may explode or leak. It
is not permitted to dispose the battery together with household waste. Always follow
local regulations for the disposal of batteries.
WARNING – If the battery begins to leak, do not touch the fluid and place the
damaged battery in a plastic bag. Should skin or eyes come into contact with the fluid,
then rinse with cold water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical assistance.
Ensure that the ignition key is turned to OFF.
The fuse holder is positioned under the right
front guard.
Open the fuse holder and replace the fuse with
the same type of fuse and with the same rating.
