Place the equipment in a
warm location for several
hours. Check that the pump
can be moved freely by
removing the shield and fan.
If the equipment is not
frozen, check for solidified
paint in the pump.
If the motor does not start
without the pump, contact
an authorised workshop.
The motor or the switch is
broken.
Contact an authorised
workshop.
Equipment is running, but
the pump does not prime or
loses prime in operation.
(Pump is running but does
not pump paint or create
pressure).
The ball in the inlet valve is
stuck.
Press the Push/Prime switch
to release the ball so the
pump can prime correctly.
The Prime/Spray valve is at
SPRAY.
Turn it down to PRIME until
paint comes out of the
return hose. The pump is
now primed.
Pump was not primed with
cleaning fluid. (Viscous
material may be difficult to
prime if it has not been
primed with cleaning fluid).
Take the suction hose out of
the paint. Prime the pump
with oil-based or water-
based cleaning fluid.
Impurities in the paint.
Strain the paint.
Thick or sticky paint.
Some materials are primed
faster if the ON/OFF
switched is turned on and off
so the pump runs more
