Problem

Engine does
not start
The fuel cock is not opened.
No fuel in the tank.
Oil is not filled to the correct
level.
The engine switch is in the
“OFF” position.
The choke is not set correctly.
The spark plug is dirty.
The air filter is blocked.
Open the cock.
Fill the fuel tank.
Fill the oil to the correct
level.
Press the switch to
“ON”.
Set the choke to the
correct position.
Clean/replace the
spark plug.
Clean/replace the air
filter.
Engine runs
unevenly
The air filter is
blocked.
The spark plug is dirty.
The choke is set
incorrectly.
Dirty/old fuel.
Clean/replace the air
filter.
Clean/replace the
spark plug. Set the
choke to the correct
position.
Drain old fuel and fill with
new fuel.
No electrical
power
Control fuse has tripped.
Switch off the electrical
equipment,
and reset the fuse.
