Safety rules
•
The generator must not be started or stopped when it is connected to
electrical equipment that is switched on. Start the engine, let it run for a
couple of minutes and then connect the electrical equipment. If the engine
is to be stopped, disconnect the electrical equipment. Next, allow the
engine to run for a couple of minutes, before stopping the engine.
•
It is recommended that voltage-sensitive electronic equipment is not
connected to the generator. Always comply with the safety instructions
for the equipment that is being used.
•
Ensure there is 1.5 m safety zone around all every side of generator’s
sides – and also above the generator.
•
The generator must not be connected to equipment that exceeds the
generator’s capacity.
WARNING!
•
The generator must not be exposed to rain and moisture. Never touch the
generator or cables while standing in water or when barefoot or if you have
wet feet.
•
Ensure that there is safe and adequate ventilation to remove exhaust fumes.
The generator must only be used outdoors.
•
Never store the equipment indoors with fuel still in the tank or in poorly
ventilated areas where fumes may come into contact with open flames or
equipment that can generate sparks or flames.
•
Only refill with fuel when the engine is cold. Smoking is strictly prohibited.
•
Do not use the generator if the cables are worn, frayed or in any other way
damaged.
•
Always allow the equipment to cool down before touching it, especially the
silencer, which becomes very hot.
•
Never make any modifications to the generator – neither change the engine
manufacturer’s engine settings nor change anything else.
