Application
Workshop press with a hydraulic pressure of up to 30 tons, and a piston travel of 160
mm. The workshop press has the dimensions 180 x 82 x 70 cm (H x W x D). The press
can i.a. be used to press out old bearings, press new bearings into place, or straighten
bent items. The workshop press may only be used as described in this manual - all
other uses are considered incorrect.
General safety instructions
•
Read the operating instructions carefully before using the workshop press.
•
Items that are subjected to strong pressure can shatter - therefore always wear safety
goggles / face shield when working with the workshop press.
•
The workshop press must stand on a stable, dry, and level surface. If possible, we
recommend that you bolt it to the floor.
•
Never use the workshop press for anything other than what it is designed for and
never to compress springs or the like.
•
Check regularly that all bolts, nuts, etc. are properly tightened.
•
Never use the workshop press if the machine re is visible damaged / defect.
•
Make sure that the item pressed with / on is always completely straight. If the
workpiece is skewed, it may tip over under pressure.
•
Never exceed the specified max. pressure and strokes, as this may damage the gaskets
in the cylinder.
•
Keep children and bystanders away from the work area and the machine when in
operation.
•
The workshop press must not be operated by persons under the influence of alcohol,
drugs, or narcotics.
•
Stay focused and concentrate on the task - keep an eye on the subject under pressure
while working on the machine.
