Improper use
Risk of damage to the cushion surface due to user error
► Do not allow the wheelchair seat cushion to come into contact with sharp objects. This also
applies to animals with sharp claws such as pet cats.
►
Do not expose the wheelchair seat cushion to excessive heat or open flame.
► If the wheelchair seat cushion is expected to come into contact with liquid, such as spilt
drinks or episodes of incontinence, always use it in conjunction with a liquid-repellent cover.
►
Only use the official Ottobock incontinence covers for the product. The incontinence covers
have been optimised for the wheelchair seat cushion to maintain the pressure redistribution
capability of the seat cushion. Contact your prescribing therapist, clinician or specialist deal­
er to obtain a spare Ottobock cover.
NOTICE
Wear of seat cushions, padding and upholstery
Loss of functionality due to prohibited continued use
► Have the seat cushions, padding and upholstery replaced promptly in case of damage.
CAUTION
Use of foam wedges that are not included in the scope of delivery
Reddening of the skin or pressure sores due to unsuitable shape or hardness of the foam
wedges
► Only use the foam wedges that are included with the cushion.
► The question of whether foam wedges should be used for positioning must be decided by
qualified personnel.

Please contact your prescribing therapist or your specialist dealer to obtain replacement
wedges.
