The product “4X860=* C-Leg Protective Cover” is referred to as the Protective Cover/product
below.
These instructions for use provide you with important information on the use, adaptation and
handling of the product.
Only put the product into use in accordance with the information contained in the accompanying
documents supplied.

2 Product description

2.1 Design

The product consists of the following components:

1. Protector main unit
2. Upper closure (one side always stays on

the main unit)

3. Lengthwise closure
4. Protector Foot Cuff
5. Shield Insert

2.2 Function

The protector provides a means of enclosing the C-Leg electronic knee joint, including the tube
adapter, to enhance its appearance and function. The housing of the knee joint is protected
against external influences by the protector, e. g. scratching and surface contamination. The pro
tector is not required for the proper and safe functioning of the joint.

2.3 Combination possibilities

Prosthetic components that are suited for combination with the product are listed below.
