4 Use
4.1 Choosing a Tool
CAUTION
Using improper tools
Injuries, damage to the tool and/or the material to be processed

Use only a tool that is suitable for the material to be processed (see
section "Construction and Function").
►
Replace any severely damaged tools (see Fig. 2, item 3) with new tools
(see Fig. 2, item 1).
4.2 Mounting/Dismounting
CAUTION
Improper mounting/dismounting of the tool
Injuries
►
Only mount the tool on a machine that has the corresponding thread on
the tool holding fixture.
►
Mount/dismount the tool only when the machine is switched off.
4.3 Handling
CAUTION
Careless working
Injuries and burns, damage to the tool and/or the material to be processed
►
Observe the Operating Instructions of the machine.
►
Avoid any contact with the tool as it heats up during processing.
1) Use the values for speed and contact pressure given in the table in the
section "Construction and Function".
2) Switch on the machine and set the required speed (see Operating
Instructions of the machine).
3) Firmly hold the material to be processed in your hand and guide it
against the tool with the required contact pressure.
