4 Assembling and laminating

Caution!

Installation of the pin in a liner that is not approved

Falling due to loosening of the screw connection

• Only install the pin in liners with a metal thread and observe the

specified tightening torque.

• Inform the patient.

For more details about the fabrication of a transtibial prosthesis with Liner

and 6A30=10 Shuttle Lock refer to the Technical Information Sheet 2.1.6.

Caution!

Sometimes the alignment line (solid line)

differs from the long axis of the stump

(broken line). The shuttle-lock must follow

the broken line.

• Use a rasp to flatten the distal end of the plaster positive to obtain an even

surface for the dummy plate (5).

• Secure the dummy plate with the four screws provided with the kit (fig. 2).

• Pull over a 99B81 PVA Bag. Tie off distally in the groove of the dummy

plate and cut off.

• Apply silicone grease to the thread of the short dummy for the ratchet unit

(7) and insert it in the shuttle lock housing.
