6.2.3 Positioning the prosthetic foot
►
Position the prosthetic foot as shown in Fig.
16
on page 13.
►
NOTICE!
To prevent rapid wear, adhere to the tolerance range for exterior rotation and do not
adapt to the exterior rotation of the sound foot.
6.2.4 Mounting the distal adapters
CAUTION
Improper assembly of the screw connections
Fall due to breakage or loosening of the screw connections
►
Clean the threads before every installation.

length.
►
Mount the distal adapters of the prosthetic knee joint on the prosthetic foot (see Fig.
17
on
page 13).
6.2.5 Mounting the prosthetic knee joint
CAUTION
Incorrect mounting on the tube
Falling due to breakage of load-bearing components
►
Do not use the insertion range of the prosthetic knee joint for length compensation.
►
CAUTION!
Clean the contact surfaces of the prosthetic knee joint and tube using a degreas
ing cleaning agent compatible with the material.
►
Mount the prosthetic knee joint as shown in Fig.

Positioning at the optimum height for the patient's hand
1
•
Laying the perlon cable in the prosthetic socket, in a straight line from the prosthetic knee
joint to the lock slide
2
•
Lamination plate secured against rotation in the laminate
3
•
In and out holes for the perlon cable with sufficient spacing from the prosthetic knee joint and
lock slide for reliable lock function
4
•
Plastaband as protection for the thread on the lamination plate while laminating
5
•
Greased perlon cable dummy for making a channel centred in the laminate
