1) Measure the length of the tube adapter (from the bottom edge of the joint to the start of the
pyramid receiver of the tube adapter).
2) Cut a rectangle of the measured length and a width of 122 mm out of the material Pedilen or
Plastazote (5 mm thickness).

3) Attach the material to the tube adapter with
double-sided adhesive tape.
INFORMATION: Do NOT glue the
material to the functional shank.
Access to the set screws for feet with a high structural height
Complete the following steps to gain access to the set screws:
1) Remove the prosthetic foot.
INFORMATION: Using two Allen keys size 4 for the disassembly and assembly of the
prosthetic foot is recommended.
2) Secure the two adjacent set screws to prevent changing the foot position.
3) Turn the other two set screws completely into the tube adapter.
4) Insert the knee joint with tube adapter into the functional shank.

5) Measure the distance between the bottom
edge of the functional shank and the set
screws.

6) Mark the measured distance to the 4 set
screws on the outside of the functional
shank.
7) Remove the knee joint and tube adapter.
8) With a pointed needle or a metal pin
heated with a blow dryer, drill a hole in the
functional shank at the marked locations.
9) Insert the knee joint with the tube adapter
into the functional shank.
10) Assemble the prosthetic foot through the
previously drilled holes.
