Direction for Use AcceleDent® Aura Back to Contents
To Reset Device Clock:
Follow directions in previous section (FastTrac Usage Report for
Windows or for MAC) to access ACCELEDENT drive and the FastTrac.
htm file is visible.
For Google Chrome, Firefox,
Internet Explorer.
For Safari
Click on FastTrac.htm to open file
in the browser.
Click on FastTrac.htm file to open
file in the Safari browser.
On the keyboard press “Ctrl+S”
to save the file.
Select “File” menu.
Verify location to save file is
ACCELEDENT drive.
Verify in “Where” that ACCELEDENT
device is selected.
Verify the "Save as type" is
Text files (.txt, .text). For Google
Chrome choose "Webpage,
Complete".
Verify the “Format”selected is
“Page Source”.
Next, Save the file by typing the
file name “SETCLOCK.txt”
Save the file in”Export As” as the
file name “SETCLOCK.htm”
Select “Save” button. Select “Save” button.
Close FastTrac Report and
safely eject Activator from host
computer.
Close FastTrac Report and safely
eject Activator from host com-
puter.
Plug the activator back into the
host computer and open the
FastTrac report. The time and
date will be updated.
Plug the activator back into the
host computer and open the Fast-
Trac report. The time and date will
be updated.
The AcceleDent Aura will read the date and time from the time stamp
provided by the host PC operating system. No files will be saved on the
device.
