2.1.3. Cabling for Spectroscopy

Figure 3 shows the standard cabling of an EASY-MCA in an HPGe detector system. If the detec-
tor has a TRP preamplifier (“-PLUS” model), all connections shown below should be made.
Resistive-feedback preamplifiers do not have an INHIBIT output so the INHIBIT connection is
left open.
