Operations sequence

General instructions

cpg

.0: GIS medium-voltage switchgear,

gas insulated, up to 40.5 kV,

in accordance with IEC Standard

Replacing fuses

To access the fuse holders, first remove the cable

compartment cover. It is essential to close the earthing

switch. If any of the three fuses blow, the switch-

disconnector will open automatically (a); this is indicated

by the red position indicator (b) on the front of the driving

mechanism compartment.

Figure 7.74.

The following procedures must be followed in order to

replace the fuses:

Close the earthing switch (c).

Remove the cable and fuse compartment access cover

by pulling the handle (d) up.
