How to adjust each cable, belt and rod:
When
adjusting
each
type
of
wire,
belt
and
rod,
place
the
machine
on
a
flat
area.
Remove
the
ignition
and
apply
the
parking
brake.
Make
sure
you
take
sufficient
safety
precautions.
For
adjustment
of
the
belt
and
blade
brake,
unzip
the
brackets
that
secure
the
seat,
make
sure
the
seat
is
in
the
upright
position.
(When
you
lift
the
seat,
it
will
be
fixed
in
place.)
NOITCE
:
The
key
fasteners
are
supplied
with
the
ignition.
Coins
or
screwdrivers
can
be
substituted.

Please ask your dealer for replacement of the running belt and the blade belt.
Replacement of these belts requires special tools and techniques (charges apply).

Adjustment of the running belt:
Running belt should always be taut.
If the running belt slips while driving, change the position of
the spring tension, and adjust the belt tension. Refer to the
picture on the left.

■Adjustment of the blade belt (located under the seat
bracket):
Please visually inspect the belt for any damage.
If there are cracks or abrasions on the belt, replace with a
new one.

■ Adjustment of the belt holder:
1. Set the cutting height adjustment lever position to
about 3” (70m).
2. Turn the blade clutch lever to the [ON] position.
3. Adjust the clearance between each belt holder. Refer
to the following.
