Explanation/Elimination

Warning
A "warning" appears in the display (directly below the mains voltage informa-
tion during the process). The message can be combined with the parameters of
voltage, current or speed and the "high" or "low" specification. The message
shows that the limit value specified in the monitoring limits for the alarm were
overshot or undershot for the corresponding parameter.
Example:
"Warning: Low speed": The limit value of the weld speed specified for the alarm
was reached during the "low-current time".
This can be overshooting or undershooting. If one of the abort values is also
reached, the process is aborted and another message is output.

Lack of gas
The process was aborted due to a lack of gas.

Check the hoses, bottle and pressure reducer.
X
Check the sensor even if the gas is flowing in sufficient quantity.
The message also appears outside the welding process if the gas was switched
on using the gas/coolant button and no gas is flowing.

Lack of coolant
The process was aborted due to a lack of coolant.
X
Check hoses, coolant level in tank and pump operation.
X
Check the sensor even if the coolant is flowing in sufficient quantity.
X
Checking the coolant flow: To check the coolant flow pull the coolant return
line from the machine.
This message also appears outside the welding process if the coolant was switched
on using the gas/coolant button and no coolant is flowing.

Error in ext. input
A device connected to an external error input triggered the error.
If a device is not connected to the external error input:
X
Deactivate the monitoring function in the system adjustments.

Current fault
Used in connection with a deviation of the weld current.
Example: "Warning: Low current fault", see Message 01

Current abort
The weld current has overshot or undershot the limits defined for aborting in
the monitoring limits and the process was interrupted.

Check the limit values; they may be set too close together.
Excessive resistance in the weld circuit (ground connection, rotor, current water
cable):
The machine can no longer keep the programmed weld current (setpoint
value) stable within the specified limits.

Low
The limit value set for the low pulse of the corresponding parameter was
reached; see also Message 01.

Voltage
The message appears as "Warning voltage". The limit values specified in the
monitoring limits for the alarm were overshot or undershot.

Check the limit values and heed the information in "Monitoring functions"
(ssiehe Kap. 8.9, Seite 127).
Cause for excessive arc voltage:
High transition resistances in the weld circuit (plug, ground contact, etc.)
For cassette heads:
Worn current coolant cables.

Voltage abort
The limit values for aborting specified in the monitoring limits with regard to
arc voltage are overshot or undershot.

Check the limit values and heed the information in "Monitoring functions"
(siehe Kap. 8.9, Seite 127).
Cause for excessive arc voltage:
High transition resistances in the weld circuit (plug, ground contact, etc.)
For cassette heads:
Worn current coolant cables.
