Installing with the LATCH/UAS Anchorage System

Your car seat base can be installed with either LATCH/UAS or a vehicle seat belt.

WARNING

Death or Serious Injury Can Occur

Never attach two LATCH/UAS connectors to one LATCH/UAS

anchorage in a vehicle, unless recommended by the vehicle owner’s

manual for your vehicle.

If the LATCH/UAS belt does not remain tight or the car seat base can

move more than 2.5 cm (1 in) in any direction, do not use this seating

location. Your child could be seriously injured in a sharp turn, sudden

stop, or crash.

Never use both the lower LATCH/UAS system and the vehicle seat

belt system at the same time to secure the car seat base.
