4. Optimum gap between the wire and upper clamp is 0,3-0,5 mm. If the clamps are
holding the wire too tight, it can stuck. If they are holding it too loose, the wire
can fall between the clamps. Check whether the wire is placed correctly.
5. The gap between the upper and lower clamp can be set on right handwheel.
Turn the handwheel clockwise to reduce the gap. Turn it anti-clockwise to increase
the gap. One turn equals to setting of 1,5 mm.
6. Perform a trial binding and check the shape of the wire. Only the wire presented
on diagram A is bound properly. In case of diagram B the time step of lower clamp
was too short. In case of diagram C the time step was too long. Adjust by means
of the left handwheel: if the wire does not close completely (diagram B), turn the
left handwheel counter-clockwise. If the wire is overlapping (diagram C), turn the
Handwheel clockwise. One turn equals to setting of 1,5 mm.

7. In the lower clamp does not move in parallel to the upper clamp, the shape of binding wire will differ from
the diagram in point 6. In such case set proper position of upper clamp.
8.3. Adjustment of upper clamp
Horizontal position of upper clamp can be slightly set by maximum 2 mm.
Only position presented on diagram D is the proper one. In case of diagram E the position of clamp is
excessively retracted. In case of F - excessively advanced.
8.4. Adjustment of working table position
1. Only position of working table presented on diagram G is the proper one. Positions H and I mean too
narrow or loose spacing. The height of working table can be corrected by means of a handwheel (see
drawing). Turn the handwheel twice counter-clockwise to lift up the table.
