FIREWALL 

The FIREWALL is running on the CLA permanently and all communication is 

disabled. To make the changes the firewall configuration file shall be used: 

 

/etc/czech-light/firewall.conf

 

 
The file contains simple table with IP addresses which allow communication 

with the CLA only via Ethernet 0 (eth0). 

 

NOTE: the attribute “#“ means commentary

FIREWALL START 

After firewall configuration enable firewall system with help command 

 

/etc/init.d/firewall start

FIREWALL STOP 

In some cases is important stop firewall. For example in the case where user 

set firewall with bad configuration and after this configuration he can`t connect to 
the CLA. For stopping the firewall system use following command 

 

/etc/init.d/firewall stop

CLA Admin 

The CLA Admin is console for configuration of the EDFA unit. For running type 

command:
