Before using the device, please read this manual thoroughly. Keep these instructions for future
reference in order to use all the functions of the device. The manufacturer is not responsible for any
defects or damages resulting from the operation of the device in a manner inconsistent with these
instructions.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
When using the machine, the following safety instructions should be followed. Please read the
following chapter carefully!
Since it is not possible to foresee all possible situations and specify specific safety rules for them,
please use common sense precautions in situations not described below.
• Read the operating instructions carefully before using the device for the first time.
• The device may be used by children aged 8 years and above, if their operation is supervised or they
have been previously instructed regarding the safe use of the device and understand the danger of
using it. Cleaning and maintenance of the device cannot be performed by children under 8 years
of age and under the supervision of an adult. Keep the device and its cord out of reach of children
under 8 years.
• The device may be used by people with limited physical, sensory and mental fitness or who do not
have the appropriate experience and knowledge, if their operation is supervised or they have been
instructed in the proper use of the device and understand the risks associated with it.
• Children must not play with the device

Never leave children with the packaging material and the product unattended.
Otherwise there is a danger of suffocation. Children should not have access to the product.
WARNING! Do not let children play with foil. Danger of suffocation!

Batteries should not be in the hands of children and should not be stored in easily
accessible places. There is a danger that they will be swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed,
consult a doctor immediately.
• Always remove the batteries when not using the device - this will prevent damage to the device if
the battery leaks.
• Exhausted batteries should be removed from the device without delay, discharged batteries may
leak causing damage to the device.
• Do not dispose of used batteries in the trash, but into special containers for used batteries
• Never throw batteries into a fire. Danger of explosion!
• The kitchen scale is intended for domestic use only. It should not be used for industrial or shop
applications. The balance must not be used for calibration or commercial purposes.
• Do not use the device outdoors.
• Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid! Moisture penetrating the device may
damage it. Therefore, do not use it in the bathroom or other rooms with high humidity.
