• Do not expose the electronic kitchen scale to heat or sunlight! Do not place the device near heating
elements, e.g. radiators, radiators or stoves, as this may cause deformation of the casing and
damage of electronic components.
• Use the device only in a horizontal position, on a flat surface such as a table or other hard top. Never
use the device on an inclined or unstable surface – it may cause inaccurate weighing indications,
its overturning or even falling to the floor. Do not use the scale if the surface intended for its
operation is unstable, as it may cause accidental tipping over or dropping.
• Do not overload the weight! The device is designed for weighing loads with a maximum weight
of 5 kg. Do not weigh objects weighing more than 5 kg, because the balance is not able to display
their weight and attempts to weigh them may also lead to permanent damage to the balance as
a result of overloading. Therefore, before weighing, the weight of the object should be estimated
initially. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by overloading.
• The glass weighing surface is fragile and must be protected against impacts.
• Do not place hot food or hot containers such as saucepans on the scale.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for damages or failures resulting from modifications, careless
handling, cleaning, battery leakage, incorrect battery installation or failure to comply with the
provisions of this manual.

POWER
The device is powered by batteries: 2 * 1.5V AAA
Comments
• The device is powered only by batteries. It can
-
not be powered by connecting to the network,
adapter or battery.
Please use only the batteries specified in the
operating instructions. It is not possible to pla-
ce other batteries (of a different size or shape)
in the device. The use of batteries with a diffe-
rent voltage may result in the inability to use
the device or its damage.
USING THE DEVICE
Before using
Unpack the device and remove all packing materials.
Check that the device is complete and shows no signs
of damage. The device may only be operated if it has all
components and is in undamaged condition.
There may be a protective film on the cover of some new
devices. In this case, remove the foil, open the cover and
insert a new battery as described in the „Replacing the battery”
section of this manual.
Place the scale on a flat, stable surface. Do not place on soft,
unstable surfaces. There must be no objects under the scale,
as this may cause imbalance or tipping over of the legs, or
blocking the bottom plate of the balance (e.g. by a napkin),
resulting in an incorrect weighing result. Make sure there is
enough space around the balance so that it does not come into
contact with the wall, furniture or other objects, resulting in an
incorrect weighing result.
USE AND OPERATING MODES OF THE KITCHEN
SCALE
On the LCD display, the device displays the weight of items
on the weighing plate, with a maximum weight of 5 kg, in
measuring units:
• grams (g) • milliliters (ml)
• oz (oz) • pounds (lb)
The measuring unit is set with the UNIT button.
The indication in milliliters (ml) is accurate enough only
when water is being measured. When weighing a different
type of fluid with a different density, the indication may not
be accurate.
Place the product on the balance surface to start weighing. The
product weight appears on the display. The item to be weighed
should be placed in the center of the balance. Unsymmetrical
