5. Do not immense the hair straightener, cord or plug into
water. Never put away the hair straightener downwards so
that it can fall into water while it is operating.
6. Do not place or store the appliance in a place where it can
fall into water or be splashed with it.
7. Do not use while bathing.
8. The hair straightener should only be used to style hair.
9. If the hair straightener is damaged while operating unplug
it immediately and return it to a service center.
10. Never try to remove lint or foreign bodies from the inside
of the hair straightener using sharp objects (e.g. a comb).
11. Never place any objects into the openings of the hair
straightener.
12. Never place the hair straightener on a soft surface such as a
bed or couch or on other flammable materials.
13. Never use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray)
products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
14. Hairsprays contain flammable materials. Do not apply
them while using the hair straightener.
15. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualified service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
The appliance can only be repaired by qualified service
personnel. Improper servicing may cause a serious hazard
to the user. In case of defects we recommend to turn to a
qualified service agent.
16. If the appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do
not reach into the water while the unit is plugged in. Do not
use a hair straightener that has fallen into water.

instructed to do so by a responsible person. Do not leave
the appliance unattended during operation.
