11.2    Vent Valve 

●

 When delivered both oil filler holes are sealed with drain plugs.  

 

Once the actuator is installed, it is important to remember that the upper 

most drain screw must be replaced by the additionally supplied venting 

plug. This venting plug helps manage altitude and temperature changes 

experienced by the actuator - it is a one way valve to adjust the inner oil 

gas pressure. 

 

For installations above 2000m, consider that an additional heating element
