Viewing Live Video
Viewing Live Video
Ocularis video is displayed through the use of a view. Views are either inherited from Ocularis Base or each user may
create his or her own local views. Once views are created, they may be accessed by the user each time they use
Ocularis Web. The last view displayed will be presented to the user upon the next log in.
To Display a View
Display a preconfigured view by selecting the
Views
menu.

Ocularis Base views are listed in alphabetical order.
o
Local Views are listed in the order in which they were created.
Click the view name you would like to display.
Modifying View Panes
There are occasions where you may want to see video from a different camera not displayed in the current view. You
can display another view containing the desired camera or you can simply replace one of the panes displayed with video
from the alternate camera.
1. Select the
Cameras
menu.
2. From the list of cameras, drag and drop the desired camera from the list displayed onto the desired pane. You
may replace a pane that is populated with an existing camera with an alternate camera.
Note:
Changes made using this method are only temporary. If you re-load the view or log out and log in, the view will
return to displaying the original cameras.
