SUBTITLE

You can display subtitles on the TV screen and select
a subtitle language from those included on the DVD
video.

Selecting a Subtitle

Press SUBTITLE repeatedly to select the
subtitle during playback.

Each time you press SUBTITLE, the subtitle changes.

SUBTITLE 01/02: ENGLISH

SUBTITLE 02/02: JAPANESE

Notes

• When you turn on the DVD Player or replace a

disc, the DVD Player returns to the setting set in
the PREFERENCES. (See page 42.)

• During some scenes, the subtitles may not

appear immediately after you change the
subtitle language.

• Some DVD videos are set to display subtitles

automatically, and you cannot turn them off
even if you set the subtitle function to off.

• Some DVD videos will allow you to make subtitle

selections and turn subtitles on or off only by
using the disc menu.

• The language which is not in the PREFERENCES

is displayed as “UNKNOWN”. (See page 48.)
