screws and seal well with silicone to
prevent dust blow out..
VII. V-Systems Filter Assembly
Insert Silencer into Filter.
Plastic ring on Silencer must sit on the
inside of the Filter gasket.
If you have the Spun-Bond Filter you
will get two rods that you must attach
with an included rod connector. The
blended Filter with the metal cage only
uses one rod.
20. Attach Filter Rod to Plenum. If you
have the Spun-bond filter, you will need 2
rods attached with a connector as shown
below. Before you connect the rod to
the Plenum, you must position the filter
underneath with the rod inside as shown
above. Make sure the silencer is inserted
in the filter as shown in inset before at-
taching the filter.
21. This is easiest with 2 people. Have
one person hold the filter up against
the Plenum plate while the second
person holds the bracket as shown and
puts it up on the filter rod, followed by
the washer and then the Thumb Nut.
