V. V-Systems Cone Leg Assembly
12. Put included self-sticking gasket
on top rim of cone.
Make sure there is
NO gap where both ends of gasket
meet. This is VERY important for an
air tight seal.
13. Insert legs into triangular holders
and tighten bolts securely.
15. Put Clamp Ring over cone for later
connection. Lower V-Tube into cone
making sure pins are inside the cone.
16. Put a bead of silicone on the top of
the V-Tube sheet.
Note: This is very important to seal
the Fan Housing to the Cyclone
Cone to prevent dust blow out.
14. Pick up cyclone
and set up on legs.
Bead of Silicone
Parts of this procedure require
at least two people to complete.
Use extreme caution and good
sense when assembling this
unit. Parts of it are very heavy.
17. Determine where you want Fan
Motor Outlet in relation to Cone Inlet,
then lift Fan Motor Housing on top of
cone, making sure the V-Tube guide
pins are inside the housing. The Fan
Motor Housing is extremely heavy. It
is at least a two person job.
Do NOT
attempt to do this yourself! It could
be extremely dangerous!
18. Make sure Clamp Ring is evenly
over both the cone lip and housing lip.
Put bolt through ring then put hex nut
on first, then put on the Ny-Lock nut
with nylon facing out and tighten.
Caution:
The Ny-Lock nut is required to
prevent the bolt from vibrating off
during operation. Don’t over tighten
nuts! Bolt could break!
