3-7-2 Selecting the Host Link Communication Speed
When the host link is used, the baud rate of the communications with the PC can
be set. Use the “Baud Rate” switch and select 9600 bps or 19200 bps.
The factory setting has been made at 9600 bps.
Select the baud rate of the communication with the PC by the menu operation from
the System Menu as mentioned below.
Select “Maintenance Mode”
with the
key, then press “EN-
TER”.
Select “Memory Switch” with the
key, then press “ENTER”.
Display the next screen by
pressing the
key.
Select “Baud Rate” with the
key.
Pressing the [+/--] key while
“Baud Rate” is highlighted will
cause the selection for this item
to alternate between “9600BPS”
and “19200BPS”.
To quit after setting the selection made, press the “ENTER” key. To quit without
setting the selection made, press any two function keys simultaneously.
If the NT link has been selected, the Baud Rate setting does not make any effect.
