OPERATION
1
First turn down all level controls of the input channels to the left stop position.
2
Use the button MP3/AUX to define which input signal is assigned to channel 1: button not pressed =
signal of the internal audio player, button pressed = signal of the jacks AUX or CD/TAPE IN.
3
Use the input selector buttons to switch the channels 2 and 3 to microphone or line level according to
the signal sources connected.
4
Adjust the MASTER LEVEL control for the overall volume to a level that the subsequent adjustments
can be heard well via the PA system.
5
Adjust the desired volume ratio of the input channels with the level controls. Turn the controls of the
inputs not used to 0.
6
Optimize the sound of the mixed signal with the tone controls for high and low frequencies.
7
A reverb effect created via the integrated effect processor can be added to a microphone signal of the
input channels 2 and 3 and the receiver module. Adjust the effect intensity with the REVERB control.
8
Determine the definite level for the master volume of the PA system with the MASTER LEVEL control.
In case of overload the red LEDs LIMIT light up. If a LED lights continuously, turn back the master
control accordingly.
9
After operation, switch off the PA system. The power indicator PWR extinguishes. The automatic
charging for the rechargeable batteries is always active even if the unit is switched off. To prevent
unnecessary power consumption, always disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket if the unit is
not used for a longer period. Also, do not forget to switch off the microphone. Otherwise the batteries
will be exhausted the next time the microphone is used. To switch off the microphone, set the sliding
switch to the “OFF” position.
Audio Player
The audio player can either be operated via the buttons on the front panel or via the remote control. When
actuating a button, always direct the remote control towards the sensor. There must be no obstacles
between remote control and the sensor. If the range of the remote control decreases, the battery is probably
exhausted and must be replaced.
CAUTION!
Do not direct any microphones to speakers. This can result in dangerous and
unpleasant acoustic feedback which will generate a loud whistling sound.
