Microphone input
Balanced XLR jack for connecting a
microphone, for each channel 1 to 4.
Line input
Balanced 6.3 mm jack for connecting audio
units with line level (e.g. music instrument),
for each channel 1 to 4.
Input selector switch
Switches the channels 1 to 4 from
microphone input to line input.
Limiter/Compressor selector switch
Selects the type of the dynamic processor
assigned to channel 1 or 2.
• Switch released: limiter operation
• Switch pressed: compressor operation
Phantom power selector switch
When engaged, a 15 V phantom power is
switched on for all XLR microphone inputs.
Phantom power is a lower DC voltage which
most professional condenser microphones
require.
Line input
Stereo input (RCA and 6.3 mm jack, bal.)
jack for connecting audio units with line level
(e.g. music instrument or CD player) for
channel 5/6.
• When connecting a mono device, only use
the upper jack L/MONO.
Line input
Stereo input (RCA) for connecting audio units
with line level for channel 7/8.
Monitor output
Output (unbal. 6.3 mm jacks, L/R) for
connecting an amplifier of a monitor system
or active monitor speakers.
• The monitor output features a separate level
control; the output level is independent of the
position of the master control.
Monitor level control
Level control for the monitor output.
Recording output
Stereo output (RCA) for the master signal
(for connecting the input of a recorder
• The recording level is independent of the
position of the master control.
Speaker outputs
6.3 mm jacks, L/R for connecting the left and
right speaker.
Tone controls
Controls for the high range (HIGH) and the
low range (LOW), for each channel 1 to 8.

Level controls
To mix the channel signal to the master
signal, for each channel 1 to 8.
Echo selector switch
When pressed, the channel signal is routed
to the internal effect processor (LED lights),
for each channel 1 to 4.
Echo control
Adjusts the total volume of the internal echo
effect.
Delay control
Adjusts the delay time and the number of
repeats of the internal echo effect.
Bass boost selector switch
Determines the type of equalization assigned
to the master signal which is available at the
speaker outputs.
• Switch released: bass boost switched off
• Switch pressed: bass boost switched on
LED level meter
6-digit LED level indicators for the master
signal within the range of -1 dB to +6 dB.
The LIMIT LED lights if the internal power
amplifier section is overloaded. If it lights
permanently, reduce the output level with
the master control.
Power indicator
Lights up when the unit is powered on.
Master control
Level control for the master signal sent to the
speaker outputs.
Power input
Used to plug in the supplied power cord.
Fuse holder
Only replace the fuse when the device is
disconnected from mains. Only use fuses of
the same rating and power. The correct value
is specified on the device.
