Device Settings:
The Device Settings tab allows users to configure various features on the SS-015 such as saving and loading
configuration presets, performing a factory reset of the device, firmware updates, changing between Low Power and
High Power mode, and more.
6.4.1
Radio Control – Low Power and High Power mode
The Radio Control button located under the Device Settings tab allows users to change between the
default
Low Power
mode and the more power demanding
High Power
mode.
Low Power mode offers a range of up to 1.2 km depending on the environment. High Power Mode offers a
range of up to 3.2 km depending on the environment, however High Power mode demands more power
consumption. It is recommended that High Power mode be used when the device is powered by an external
UNIV-AC-100/240-5-M8 Universal AC Adapter with M8 Connector (sold separately) otherwise the C-Cell
batteries will be depleted at a faster rate.
