IT IS FORBIDDEN:
• It is forbidden to use the equipment improperly or
incorrectly; it should be used exclusively for the
purpose described in paragraph 2. Specific use page
6.
• Do not lift a vehicle if not on an horizontal floor.
• Do not use more than one appliance to lift a vehicle.
• Extending the length of the lever to increase the
labour force is prohibited.
• Do not use the appliance to wash vehicles.
• Do not climb nor stand on lifting components of the
appliance.
• Do not stand nor work under or next to the lifted
load, except when it is secured on safety stands of a
suitable capacity.
• If is forbidden to climb aboard the vehicle both during
the movement stages and when the vehicle has been
lifted.
• It is forbidden to remove protections, safety signals or
tamper with safety devices installed on the equipment.
This violates European standards on safety.
• It is forbidden to cause the vehicle to sway during lift
ascent and descent.
• It is forbidden, when lifting the vehicle, do not place
any shim between the vehicle and the jack plate.
• Do not leave a vehicle on an appliance, unless it has
been put on safety stands.
• It is forbidden to use the appliance when some
persons stand in or next to the working area. In such
a case, stop any operation immediately.
• The equipment must never be used if the room
temperature is below 5°C or over 40°C.
• It is forbidden to tamper with or modify the equipment:
any tampering or modifications to the equipment
automatically and immediately nullifies the guarantee
and relieves the manufacturer of any liability for
direct or indirect injury caused by such tampering or
modifications.
• Do not use the equipment in the following cases:
−
inside freezers,
−
in environments where potentially explosive
atmospheres may develop,
−
in mines,
−
on ships,
−
near food,
−
near heat source and flames.
• Do not use accessories not suppliable by
OMCN S.p.A.
• The engine of the vehicle must not be started.
3.1 CLOTHING AND PERSONAL SAFETY DEVICES
To use the equipment in safe conditions, adequate clothing
must be used for the equipment and working environment:
• Do not wear loose clothes, ties, scarves or similar
garments that could get caught up in the equipment’s
movable parts.
• Keep long hair out of the way and sleeve ends tight;
avoid wearing watches, rings, necklaces or other
objects that may cause injury.
• Use protective footwear, protective helmet, protective
gloves and in the case of high noise level, above
85 dB(A), use headsets or other hearing protection
devices.
In all cases, refer to working environment safety regulations of the country where the equipment is being
operated.
3.2 SOUND LEVEL
The equipment has been subjected to noise level tests.
The tests were carried out on a load less lift equipped
with its standard components, in compliance with the
procedures specified in regulation in force.
The noise produced by the lift when working is lower than
70 dB(A).
