3. GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
!
WARNING:
It is compulsory to comply with the general safety and prevention regulations listed below:
persons not complying with the requirements in this manual may harm themselves and/or harm or damage
persons, animals or things.
THE MACHINE MAY ONLY BE USED:
• The machine may only be used by responsible staff in
good health who have been specially trained to use
the equipment and are acquainted with all the risks.
• The machine may only be used by operators and
users who have fully read and understood the
instructions and information in the booklet.
• The machine may only be used inside closed rooms
that are free from atmospheric agents: snow, rain and
wind, etc.
• The machine can only be used by one operator at a
time; it is forbidden for more than one person to use
the equipment at the same time.
IT IS COMPULSORY:
• It is compulsory to check that the surface where the
equipment is to be used is solid, flat, horizontal, clean,
perfectly levelled and able to support the maximum
loads that will be obtained during use of it.
• It is compulsory, after lifting the vehicle by means of
the jack, lay the mentioned vehicle on the special
stationary stands (not supplied) before starting
working under the same.
• Before operating with the equipment, it is compulsory
to check that the operating area is sufficiently
illuminated (sufficiently illuminated area but not
subject to glare or intense light).
• Before operating with the equipment, it is compulsory
to check that the support parts are integral: on the
contrary, it is forbidden to use the equipment.
• It is compulsory to check that the installed safety
devices are in perfect working order before operating
the equipment: it is forbidden to operate the machine
if it is faulty.
• It is compulsory to check that there are no hazardous
conditions for persons at risk during operation. If
there are, stop any operations underway immediately
and keep people away.
• When the appliance is not getting used, check that
the stem is completely folded inside and make sure it
is put away in a clean and safe place where it cannot
be damaged nor used by unauthorized persons.
• In the event of irregular or anomalous sounds, it is
compulsory to stop all operations immediately and
find the cause of the anomaly. If in doubt, avoid any
improper operations and contact the manufacturer’s
technical service centre.
• Before lifting any vehicle, make sure that the wheels
are blocked in such a way that they cannot turn nor
move and the hand brake is on.
• It is compulsory to check that there are no obstacles
in the load support area during operational
movements.
• When you lift, make sure the appliance stands on a
solid base.
• The appliance must be placed under the lifting points
indicated by the car manufacturer, check that are not
dirty, greased or corroded.
• When it goes up and down, make sure the vehicle is
perfectly steady on the plate.
• Make sure that the plate is always in perfect
adherence with the load.
• Use only original OMCN spare parts for maintenance
operations.
• The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any
damage caused by the use of unoriginal fittings. The
use of non-original spare parts will instantly invalidate
the warranty.
