General settings:
By tapping the input field on the right, the control panel appears
below. The value can be adjusted using the arrow buttons, and then
confirmed with Ok. The process can be cancelled with ESC.
Frost protection
The frost protection function is activated when the current room
temperature drops below the frost protection temperature which
is set. The combustion process automatically starts for min. 30
minutes. This also occurs in the “Off” operating state (master switch
must be switched on). As soon as the current room temperature
climbs above the frost protection temperature which is set, the
combustion process is ended again and the system switches back
to the previously selected operating mode. The frost protection
temperature can be set to between 5 °C and 10 °C or “---”. Factory
setting: ---
Night time reduction
(Only in “Automatic” mode and with switching times activated.
There is no night time reduction without switching times.)
The night time reduction temperature can be set to between 5 °C
and 20 °C or “---”. The factory setting is “---”, i.e. deactivated.
Maximum output
(Only in “Automatic” mode) The max. output stage can be set to
between 1 and 5. Factory setting: 5
Standby (only in “Automatic” mode)
Standby mode can be switched on and off. With standby mode
switched off, the pellet fireplace continues heating at the lowest
output stage once the preset room temperature is reached. This
means ignition processes are avoided.
In standby mode, the pellet fireplace switches off when the room
temperature which is set, plus the switch-off hysteresis (1 °C to 3 °C)
is reached.
See also menu: “Off temperature settings”.
The temperature at which the pellet fireplace switches back on
again is set in the “Temperature drop settings” menu. If standby
mode is not desired, then the display must be changed to “Off”.
Factory setting: on
Temperature drop (in “Automatic” mode):
The temperature drop describes the switching difference between
the room temperature which is set and the pellet fireplace switching
back on in standby mode.
The temperature drop for starting the pellet fireplace can be set to
between 1 °C and 6 °C. Factory setting: 2 °C
Off temperature (in “Automatic” mode only)
The switching hysteresis at which the pellet fireplace switches to
standby mode is set in the “Off temperature” menu. The switch-off
hysteresis can be set to between 1 °C and 3 °C. Factory setting: 1 °C
Example:
Room temperature set: .............................................................................20 °C
Temperature drop set: ................................................................................. 2 °C
Off temperature set: .................................................................................... 1 °C
The pellet fireplace switches to standby at: .........20 °C + 1 °C = 21 °C
The pellet fireplace reignites at: ................................. 20 °C – 2 °C = 18 °C
Follow-up
If an external room thermostat is connected, then the follow-up can
be set to between 1 minutes and 9 minutes or to “---”. As a result, the
pellet fireplace runs for the time defined in the follow-up once the
preset room temperature has been reached in order to avoid and/or
ignore rapid temperature changes and/or external room thermostat
fluctuations (e.g. owing to opening a window for a short time).
