Upgrading The Computer

Upgrading the HDD 6 - 5

Hard Disk Removals

Turn

off

the computer, and remove the battery.

Locate the hard disk bay cover and remove screw

Slide the hard disk assembly in the direction of the arrow

Carefully lift the hard disk assembly

up out of the bay.

Hard Disk Drive

Speeds

If you are going to up-
grade/replace the hard
disk drive, note that It is
recommended that
HDDs of a

maximum

speed of 5400 RPM are
used

DO NOT use

7200rpm or higher
HDDs.
