5.3 DATA SCOPE PRINTING (HEX DUMP)

To make sure that the command codes sent from the system are received correctly, this feature prints the

corresponding ASCII code (hexadecimal) of all the characters that are input into the printer.

-

With the printer powered off, press the POWER and FORM FEED keys simultaneously; release then the
POWER key first followed by the FORM FEED key.

-

Send a small test file from the computer. the contents of this file will be printed as a string of hexadecimal
codes corresponding to the individual characters transmitted.

-

To exit from this print mode press the POWER key to power off the printer.
