4 ) Set the margin by pressing the  Left or  Right

Margin Set  Key.

4. Typing  beyond a  margin

1) Press the  Margin  Release  Key when the  Print

Point  Indicator stops at the  left or right margin.

2) Continue typing.

5. Going beyond the right margin with Auto

Carrier  Return function activated

When the Auto Carrier Return function is

activated,  you can go past the right margin  by

using the  Tab  Key.  (See  Item 8 .1,  "Automatic

Carrier  Return").

6. Memory back-up

Your typewriter  has a memory back-up circuit

which protects the memory  (containing margin

and tab settings)  for approximately 30  days.

The  circuit is fully  charged  after the  first four

hours of  usage.  Using the typewriter  at least

1 5  minutes once every 30  days will keep it

charged.
