1.2 - STORAGE
Store the cartons in
an area protected from outdoor conditions
and raised
off
the floor by
a pallet.
DO NOT TURN THE PACKAGING UPSIDE DOWN NOR PLACE IT HORIZONTALLY.
1.3 - RECEIPT AND UNPACKING
The units are delivered complete and intact. However please follow the warnings below:
a.
Upon receipt of the unit check whether the packaging is damaged. if this is the case unpack the unit
carefully, detailing with pictures any damage. Notify the carrier by registered letter within 3 days of receiving
the unit. If possible note the damage on the bill of goods provided on receipt of the unit.
b.
Check for the presence of the individual components with the packing lists.
c.
Pay attention when unpacking and installing the equipment.
d.
Sharp parts can cause injury. Pay particular attention to the edges of the unit along with the fins of the
condenser and evaporator.
No claims for damage will be considered if not submitted within 3 days of
delivery.
In the unlikely event the unit needs to be returned or repaired it's recommended to keep the packaging
for the duration of the warranty period. If you choose to dispose the packaging please do so
in compliance with all local, state or national codes and/or regulations.
