Top
chain
gear
Lubricate
every
50
hours
of
operation
with
MOBIL
EPO
grease.
Two
doses
into
the
greaser
will
be
enough
to
properly
lubricate
the
upper
bearing
of
the
gearbox.
4)
Deck
plate
adjustment
piston
Lubricate
every
250
hours
of
operation
or
at
the
end
of
the
season
with
MOBIL
EPO
grease.
Fill
the
inside
of
the
piston
until
the
grease
comes
out
of
the
drainage
hole.
5)
Gathering
chains
Lubricate
the
gathering
chains
with
SAE
30
oil
every
50
hours
of
operation.
Lubricate
also
at
the
beginning
and
the
end
of
the
harvesting
session.
Note:
spin
the
chains
for
a
few
minutes
before
lubricating.
If
the
chain
is
hot,
the
penetration
of
the
oil
between
the
inner
pins
and
the
bushings
will
be
deeper
.
Never
lubricate
the
harvesting
chains
when
the
corn
head,
the
basic
components,
or
the
engine
are
running.
