SUPPLY,
TRANSPORTATION,
INSTALLATION
AND
CONNECTION
TO
A
COMBINE
HARVESTER
SUPPLY
The
OLIMAC
corn
head
is
supplied
with
fixed
supports
installed
below
the
frame
for
standing
it
on
the
ground
during
operations,
storage
or
transport.
For
space
reasons,
a
special
stand
can
be
provided
to
allow
storage
in
an
upright
position
and
easy
access
for
the
adjustment
and
the
lubrication
of
the
corn
head.
Each
corn
head
must
be
suited
to
the
combine
harvester
used
and
the
specifications
are
mentioned
in
the
delivery
note
included
with
the
corn
head.
All
combine
harvester
drive
parts
and
universal
joints
are
packaged
separately
and
included
in
the
delivery.
HOISTING
When
performing
the
manoeuvres
described
below,
MAKE
SURE
THAT:
‐
any
operation
carried
out
with
equipment
such
as
hoists,
cranes,
slings,
etc.,
is
performed
by
qualified
personnel
TRAINED
to
use
such
devices;
‐
no
one
stands
or
walks
under
or
close
to
suspended
loads;
‐
the
hoisting
equipment
used
has
a
capacity
25%
greater
than
the
weight
of
the
machine,
as
specified
on
the
metal
plate
on
the
upper
right
side
of
the
frame;
‐
staff
appointed
to
carry
out
manoeuvres
use
appropriate
PPE;
‐
the
anchorage
is
carried
out
using
the
supports
provided
for
such
purpose.
DANGER
OF
CRUSHING
AND
FALLING
OF
SUSPENDED
LOADS
:
take
all
the
precautions
required
by
the
applicable
regulations
and
the
instructions
provided
in
this
manual.
