RAP 02:Paper Feed Jam Alarm
START
Does a JAM alarm occur when the power is turned ON?
NO
Go to A
YES
Is the paper at the resist sensor?
YES
Remove the paper.
NO
Is the JAM alarm cleared by overriding the resist sensor on the engine
controller circuit board?
YES
Check the resist sensor lever for normal operation.
NO
Replace the engine controller circuit board.
A
Is the paper actuating the resist sensor lever?
YES
Run the Engine Drive Test. Does the resist roller turn?
NO
Replace the paper feed assembly.
NO
Replace the engine controller board.
