CHANGING THE IMAGE DRUM
When the image drum reaches the end of its product life, *** CHANGE
DRUM is displayed in the control panel (*** is the colour name). If
printing continues without replacing the image drum, CHANGE ***
IMAGE DRUM is displayed and printing is cancelled. Change the toner
cartridge and clean the LED head at the same time as changing the
image drum. Image drum life is approximately 30 000 sheets of A4.
(This assumes a typical office environment where 20% of print jobs
are one page emails, 30% are 3 page word documents and 50 are
print runs of 15 pages or more).

Switch off the printer and open the top cover.
CAUTION!
>
Never expose the image drum to light for more than 5 minutes and
never expose the image drum to direct sunlight.
>
Never touch the surface of the green drum inside the image drum
unit.
